Hello there loves!!
Last week/weekend was seriously so much fun! From my first event for St. Louis fashion week, to spending some quality time with my dad and family, to hanging out with my best friend at our fav Chinese buffet, I definitely had a blast!! I love it when weekends are full of fam, friends and fun!
If you’re not following me on Instagram (which you should be…shameless plug…I know) then you don’t know about the amazing opportunity I got to attend the Spring St. Louis Fashion Week kickoff party last Thursday. Immediately upon hearing that I was invited I started thinking about what I was going to wear. Now every style/fashion blogger out there has been WERKING their Peter Pilotto for Target looks and I thought it was time to break mine out! Seeing that this sweatshirt and a dress (which I couldn’t find…boo) were the only pieces I was interested in buying I was incredibly excited that I was able to find it in my size AND on sale! Whoooppp…took that $34.95 all the way down to $14.95! Y’all know I live on the clearance racks at Target!
I got the skirt from Value Village for a smooth $6 last year and had been waiting for the perfect time to wear it. I wanted to bring out the purplish, blue that’s in the sweater and these Baker platform pumps and LVC’s lipstick “Masterpiece” fit flawlessly!
BStyle Details: Sweatshirt – Peter Pilotto for Target | Skirt – Value Village (thrift) | Shoes – Bakers (old) | Lipstick – Live Victoriously Cosmetics | Necklace – H&M | Earrings – Aldo | Bag – Nine West
Now I must be real for a moment…those shoes, by the end of the night…no ma’am!! I was literally tip toeing to the car! Lol I had a great time but my feet and legs were on FIRE! I will not wear them again when I’ll be standing for most of the night. Y’all know what it’s like, the shoes go perfectly so you try to wear them anyway KNOWING you’re gonna regret it later! Lol Whew! I think I’ll go for cute AND comfortable for the next event!
Hope you all enjoyed the look!
